We’re back at it again! It’s time for another RR Meetup! This time we’re taking on NYC in the SUMMER baby! We hear it’s a vibe, and we can’t wait to experience it with you! Please RSVP by Monday June 5th!

ROOMING

Based on our poll results, you guys opted to book hotel rooms vs booking an Airbnb. Therefore, we have secured rooms at the DoubleTree Times Square South. The DoubleTree is in the heart of New York City, located in a vibrant neighborhood surrounded by shops and restaurants, and Times Square is a short walk away! We are visiting NYC in peak travel time, and the rate we were able to secure is $259/night for king rooms and $289/night for double (2 queen beds) rooms.

If you’re looking to split costs, we recommend rooming with another roamer. While we won’t be able to arrange roommates for you, please feel free to utilize the group chat to connect with your fellow Roamers to arrange travel accommodations/rooming situations.

FRIDAY

Roamers arrive!

It will be a chill day as we all arrive and get settled!

We can all collectively decide what the vibes are for the night, but some of our suggestions are:

• Lagos Restaurant and Lounge (if y’all are really trying to turn up ALLLLLL weekend – we are in the city that NEVER SLEEPS! Where my team NO SLEEP?)

SATURDAY

4pm-10pm: Dear Summer BBQ

Cost: $72

We will be attending the Dear Summer BBQ! Tickets are currently on sale for $72 for individual tickets. The event is scheduled from 4p-10p. We recommend getting your tickets ASAP as they anticipate that this event will SELL OUT. All of the details can be found on the event page, be sure to read through the details! This is an outside event, expect a lot of standing and walking – so come prepared! We’re talking comfortable shoes, portable chargers, all the above!

11pm-End: Afterparty @ Bebuo’s Rooftop

SUNDAY

12pm: We BRUNCH! Location TBD!

4pm - 11pm: Rebel for Drink Up Game Night

Due to overwhelming response, we are having to upgrade to a larger space. So, the cost per person will be a bit more.

PAYMENT

A $50 non-refundable deposit will be required by Wednesday October 26th 2022 to confirm your RSVP.

You are confirmed once we receive this. The balance will be confirmed once we have our final head count and accommodation booked.

ACCOMMODATIONS (OVERNIGHT)

For those sleeping overnight, we will be doing shared beds and couches. If you are able to, bring air mattresses as well (or purchase from local wal-mart and return), as many people will be coming in from out of town and we are booking the largest space we can find to house everyone.
