After over a year of social-distancing, The Roaming Republic is finally back! For our much-anticipated return trip, we are taking you to Zanzibar and Tanzania for the ultimate luxury safari experience. The island of Zanzibar is known for its beautiful, white sand, blue water beaches while mainland Tanzania is home to the largest national park in Africa: Nyerere National Park (formerly known as Selous Game Reserve). You’ll get to experience both of these on this trip along with swimming with the turtles, a sunset boat cruise, turn up in the local clubs + much more; all while calling a luxury 4-star, beachfront, roamer-only resort home for 7 days and 6 nights. DAY ONE - Arrival and Themed Welcome Party 🎉

Dinner and welcome cocktails included

Land at ZNZ Abeid Amani Karume International Airport where a chauffeur and RR host will greet you on arrival.

Relax, unwind and get ready for our themed welcome party and dinner.

DAY TWO - Nyerere National Park Day Safari (largest national park in Africa) 🦁

Early morning flight included to Zanzibar airport to board our chartered flight straight to Nyerere National Park - the largest national park in Africa. Authentic Tanzanian bush lunch included. Our charted flight will take us back by evening!

DAY THREE - Nungwi Village Give Back, Swim with Turtles & Fukuchani Caves 🐢

Giving back to the communities we visit is an important aspect of RR trips and you’ll get to see why today. After our visit to Nungwi village, we’ll head to a natural aquarium to swim with the turtles. We end the day with an excursion to Fukuchani caves then, the evening is yours to explore, turn up or kickback!

DAY FOUR - Stone Town & Island Hopping 🌴

Today we tour Stone Town. You’ll get to visit the slave museum and learn the deep history of Zanzibar. Also last stop for PCR tests!. After our tour of Stone town, we’ll hop on a traditional dhow boat to Nakupenda island - the disappearing island. Full buffet lunch included. Our last stop will be at Prison Island, the island full of 100+ year old giant tortoises. After our guided tour, we head back and the evening is yours!

DAY FIVE - Free Day 🧘‍♀️

Time to relax and do whatever you came to do that isn’t on the itinerary. Your RR team has a list of suggestions for you. Perfect day for the Spice Farm tour, a visit to the Rock Restaurant or to book your personal photo or videography package. Don’t forget your return PCR test!

DAY SIX - Farewell Yacht cruise + Farewell Party/Awards Ceremony ⛵️🥂

It’s our final full day together. You’ll get the morning free to do any last minute shopping or activities you didn’t get to do. This afternoon, we set sail on our traditional RR boat party including beers, wines, fruits and snacks. Finally! Our traditional RR Awards Ceremony, where you get to vote on prizes and awards for your Roamer family. A delicious dinner will be provided. 

DAY SEVEN - DEPARTURE 👋🏾

Breakfast included

Once you’re ready, your chauffeur will take you back to the airport to catch your flight home. If you’re new, welcome to the official RR family. If you’re returning, welcome back. We can’t wait to roam with you again!

Each room has either 2 twin beds OR King Bed + Twin Bed, with the option of having only 1 shared King bed instead, unless otherwise indicated.
